NSO Women of Color at Stanford: Faculty Discuss Race and Gender in their Journeys in Academia

The WCC will be hosting our WOC Faculty Panel on Zoom where women of color on faculty at Stanford will discuss their roles on campus, how they discovered their passions, as well as their experiences being women of color in academia. As current faculty, who have also been in your position as students, they will discuss how they navigate the intersection of race and gender in higher education, what insights they have gained throughout their careers, and how it informs their relationships with students and fellow faculty. Additionally, this will be a great opportunity for you to connect with WOC faculty on campus, particularly those in the social sciences, humanities, and arts, and learn more about what it means to be a woman of color in those fields.
