Sasha Starovoitov

Sasha Starovoitov is a PhD student in English with a minor in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her work broadly examines the rise of the realist nineteenth-century novel in relation to representations of sexuality and the erotic, with a metacritical focus on how legacies of feminist literary criticism have shaped novel theory. Prior to Stanford, she received a B.A. in English from Columbia University.
