FGSS Award for Leadership in Service and Community Building

This award recognizes the impactful work of a graduating senior in fostering community, engagement, and advocacy in gender equity on the Stanford campus.

Service is defined broadly and can include community work, intellectual support, creative, or experiential activities that foster a culture in which students of all genders and sexualities feel a sense of belonging on campus.

Instructions

Students may submit a 500-750 word self-nomination or faculty or staff may submit nominations for candidates. Nominated students will be asked to also submit an unofficial transcript. Letters must include a detailed explanation of, and support for, how the student specifically meets the award criteria.
