Professor Adrian Daub named as next director of Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Stanford

Dean Saller announces new Director of the Program in Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies.
In an email to faculty on June 16, Richard P. Saller, Vernon R. & Lysbeth Warren Anderson Dean of the School of Humanities & Sciences and Kleinheinz Family Professor of European Studies, announced that Adrian Daub, Associate Professor of German Studies, had agree to become the next Director of the Program in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Stanford. His term begins on September 1, 2016. The outgoing director, Christine Min Wotipka, is completing an extended term and was noted by Dean Saller for doing “an outstanding job in strengthening the program.”
“I look forward to working with all of you to make sure the program remains every bit as energetic and vital as it’s been during Christine’s tenure,” said Professor Daub, whose wide-ranging research interests may be found on this website: https://dlcl.stanford.edu/people/adrian-daub. Professor Daub will be teaching in Berlin in Autumn Quarter and will return to campus in Winter.
