Rose Himber Howse

Rose Himber Howse is a writer and former Wallace Stegner fellow in fiction at Stanford University. She holds an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Steinbeck fellowship from San Jose State University. Her fiction and essays, which explore queer constructions of community, embodiedness, and belonging in a Southern Appalachian context, appear in ZYZZYVA, Joyland, The Carolina Quarterly, and elsewhere.
